sometimes it rains inside my head

This is mostly just going to be links and pics, 'cos I'm overwhelmed on them.

Dr. Who and the Naked Breasts of Doom. Do I even have to say it's NSFW??

Xkcd strikes again. Hee.

Why I'm starting to REALLY hate Joss carrying on Buffy the series into comics.

And I wish this were the whole song, damn it.

Lolcattaz starting here:

The lament of all lotkittens.

*nodnods*

Yep. This? My current conclusion. But at least it's amusing. :)

The feared form of the lolcat--the post-bath version.

*nodnods* This, also, is pre-lolcat wrath.

Now, fashions. Let's talk Limi Feu for a bit. Her father, Yohji Yamamoto, was a very specific type of designer, much in the way of monochromes, which his daughter's picked up, but also, very specific post-war--post-Hiroshima--presentations.

His daughter's skipped past that. But she has her own oddities...

And I do mean that, this is a really big coat. Like, could fit Rie and three more just like her in that thing.

Why??

So...half actually gracefully draped, layered semi-sheer trouser/overblouse set...half clown suit.

I'm happy with the half-overblouse side. Again, though--why the clown suit side??

I actually debated including this one, because by and large, though it seems very Annie Hall, it's actually not bad.

But that tie. I mean, there's wide ties, and then there's someone tying a napkin around your neck. That? Is way too wide, and doesn't need to be, and it just seems to throw the proportions of everything else off.

Again, one side? Fairly attractive, if overly utilitarian. The dark clown side? Bulbous and ridiculous. She's getting so much half-right in this show.

And this...either this model is really four feet tall, or this is the most foreshortening outfit ever. And the shoes and the puffball hat do not help.

And then I clicked for the next pic, and was smacked in the face by Galliano. Yeah, I think I need a break before I continue. Yeep.
