I feel fantastic....*thud*
Spent most of the day asleep. Damn weather front. Chopped me off at both knees, they just did not want to work, ARGH. So it was easier sleeping than it was moving.
S'pose it's a good thing...I guess...because I've mostly been getting, bar yesterday, four to five hours of sleep per night. For about two weeks now. This is not ideal for me.

Still sleepy. I'm hoping vitamin C in Earl Grey iced tea will help. That, and less of the up-down-up-down today. Which was what I had *before* sleeping.
House stuph. Currently: we have a plague of flies. I'm not kidding. Big bloated black flies. They're coming from under the house, where, you guessed it, Unknown Dead Thing rots away.
Today--unannounced, as usual--our handyman comes by with the cutest little moppet working for a company called Critter Control. She crawled into a set of stained beige overalls, tucked her perky little cut under a ballcap, and crawled into the crawlspace under the house.
She found where the UDT was. She just couldn't get to it. But she found two other, far more disturbing things.
One: the flies. Which flew off in a cloud as she crawled close, some coming up through the open crawlway hatch, so we've been killing evil black flies all day. I live in the Amityville house, I swear.
Two, which is somewhat worse: the dryer has been misconnected all this time. So instead of the final vent going through the house and venting on the back or side lawn--the usual overflow pattern--it's been misventing lint and damp air under the house.
The entire crawlspace is full of grey lint. It's why she didn't find the UDT right away. Good gods. That and the damp air, that cannot be good for the foundation!
