what religion or reason could drive a man to forsake his lover
One of my loves turned me on to Wheatus. He couldn't have picked a worse song to try; I tend to idolize Andy Bell and all that comes from, but...past the opening, which is oddly strained and surreal? It's not a bad version.
Now I have heard them before, most notably on Teenage Dirtbag--I just didn't realize what band it was. :)
I still say the lead singer--Brendan, is it?--has a weird voice. But hey, weird is better than homogenized.
And I'm not sure, but I believe the fellow I liked most, Philip Jimenez, in the "Respect" video? Is now on his own singing and performing with Gordo Gringo.
Now to bed, because it's the time most of y'all get up, and I need sleep!
