I, err, was thinking about it as a hand soap...you know, by the...bathroom...sink...

Wau, that's an unsettling image. I totally hadn't gone there. :)

This morning, I saw a notice in my local baker where I buy my breakfast. It said "Half French Sticks £1.50".

I told the girl that I'd come back later, when the sticks were completely French.

No, but I enjoyed watching the shop assistant go from half confused to completely bewildered in less than a second. :)

You know, if I could get the coloration right, I could do this easily....The molds wouldn't be hard to make at all.

Hrm...

Now I'm wondering if I could do it without resorting to FD&C dyes. Doing zombified baby hands would be easy. Use chlorophyll to give it a greenish tint, some black oxide spots, red oxide for the "stump".

Damn. Now I've got ideas...and I already have enough product ideas on my plate.

Of course, if you want to try it and aren't worried about using dyes... Make a latex mold of a baby doll hand, zap some Melt and Pour soap base in the microwave, add some soap safe dyes, fragerence, pour into the mold, let cool, then pop it out of the mold. (Lower quality but easily available M&P base, color, and scent is available at Michaels, JoAnns, and probably Hobby Lobby...but the prices honestly come out to about the same if you don't factor in shipping.)

Initial cost would be more than $12, but you'd end up getting more than the set offers, too.

Very true, and I was considering it...because damn, that's too cool an idea just to have around for a little while. :)
