be wary still

Yep, it's official, the tall fellow I've been seeing online? It's not so much going to continue to be a relationship.

And I only sound calm saying that, kids, trust me...it's going to hurt something fierce.

Weirder? The part of joeyfalconetti will be played by this tall elven sort, and the part of catdancer will be played by me. Yes, I don't have enough life drama, I have to recreate thrilling epic breakups from the past.

*facepalm*

But that's not yet. Now we're sort of separated. Now we're going to figure out where we stand. And then the tears and epic. Gaaah.

In other news, I am writing you from the surprisingly comfortable size 30-32 stretch jeans and size 30W lilac cableknit top I was given today. For those who aren't like me--really large--lemme put it in terms you understand.

I was buying 5X-6X flannel shirts a year ago. I was wearing 40-42 pants, size 6X leggings, shopping in the menswear department, more often than not. Clothing-wise? I'd all but gone gender-neutral.

Now? I can shop in stores that carry 30-32 as their outer limit. I can buy things at somewhat normal prices from Lane Bryant, Roaman's and the Fashion Bug.

I have lost ten sizes in one year.

DUDE.

Also II: I have mostly gotten away from picturespam from SL on this blog. However, this is too goddamn cute:

Damn, I miss that boy. He's out of world more often than he's in world, which makes sustaining the whole relationship thing problematic. He told me last night, though, that coming in even for the hour or so he has, talking with me, dancing with me, just being together in some fashion...helps him survive the insane hours in his work week and the pressure in his life.

For once? I'm someone else's anchor to reality. That is a very odd feeling.

Still need to see Die Hard. Still need to see 1408--oh, my GODS do I want to see 1408. And I might have to break my brain and see Hostel II, because--that quote is just too intriguing, 'most shocking ending ever filmed'--I'm buying fully into the 'you've got to be kidding', because really, it's 2007, what hasn't been done by now?!?

And that's it, I rejoin the slowly gathering party-types in the front room. Ta!

weight, second life, celebration, wonder
