yesterday there was the first big storm of the year, just like every year right before picture locks are due. I was working and the power dropped out. staples doesn't really have a policy on this, so we all just sat around for three hours in the dark while buzzers and alarms went off and the store slowly got colder and colder. we all went into the parking lot and had a snowball fight and then helped push stuck cars up a hill, which is fun for about five minutes until somebody sprays you with their back tiers. they eventually sent us home with pay, and the second everybody was on the other side of the street the lights snapped back on. i've never seen a group of people scatter so quickly. i just told my mom that she should knock before she comes into my room. this has never really been an issue because i never used to close my door, but it's been helping me with school work to do so. my dad just asked my why i signed a letter in pencil. i told him it's because i have problems with commitment. everybody should come to the fourth floor of the duke st building at nscad at 7 on saturday to see our half hour of power final projects. the one with the people running around a room is the one i've spent two weeks editing. it's 5 minutes long and beautiful, so screw you all. i've actually been trying to avoid conversations with non film people lately, since all i can talk about are the film projects that consume all of my time. it's like i just had a kid or something. my icon is tired and over a year old. i'll get a new one during christmas break. this year is my second last spring break. i should go somewhere this spring break. that's what collage kids do, right? whatever. me and rob were acrobrats today. i just saw that i wroke acrobrats instead of acrobats. that would be a good name for like, a child acrobat group.
