Hello from elsewhere!
Wow, this is so cool -- I'm writing this post from my shiny new 15" MacBook Pro! Dun-dun-dun! I've finally given in and joined the ranks of Apple/Mac consumerism! I'm an Apple whore now!!!! Yeeee-haaaw!!!
To commemorate this day... well, the "r" key on my PC laptop's finally dead. After the plastic piece broke off, I was left with the little rubber knob for which the piece used to rest upon; now the knob's actually worn out and ripped off, leaving me with just the raw sensor underneath. In order to type anything with an "r" in it, I literally have to dig my finger into the little hole for it to register. That makes me very sad. Also, the trackpad mouse has stopped working completely.
I haven't fully transferred into the Mac workflow yet due to time constraints, but I'm aiming to take care of that this upcoming weekend, as well as reformatting the PC in hopes that the performance will be somewhat better, the poor thing. Until then, I'm leaving this Mac running just to finish up with battery calibrating.
