bye, bye christmas

another christmas has gone.

after an hour of calling each of my parents about a dozen times each the day before, we all met up at my mom's to open presents:

• from mom i got a hat-gloves-scarf set and a jogging lounging outfit.
  
• from dad i got a $100 Mastercard giftcard. which is totally awesome because i need new clothes for the work project i will be on for 5 months (more on that in another post). but it's $100! i'm so tempted to use it towards a refurbished 80GB iPod from the Apple store.
  
• from chuck i got Psych S1 and Iron Man (but i'm probably going to exchange it for the double-disc edition. she got me the single-disc edition. i want to see the special features for that movie. she was trying to get me Tropic Thunder but the store she went to was sold-out. i don't think she realized she basically replaced on awesome RDJ flick for another *s*)
  
• and from my youngest sister and nephew i got a shirt. which looks like it may be a bit too small. i have to try it on.
  
• and from myself i got a LCD HDTV, Supernatural S3, and Step Brothers ;)

but the coolest, most awesomeness thing: chuck went out and got a Wii for the house! i've already got it hooked-up to the tv in the den and my nephew and i played bowling, golf, baseball, and tennis last night. along with a little Dancing With the Stars *lol*

speaking of my nephew, he made out like a bandit. tons of toys, including tons of boxes with his beloved Lego's. a X-Box from my sister and i (which stays at our house, so yeah, i will be playing that too *s*). plus a Dell desktop from my dad, which is also meant to stay at my house. that's the only thing he hasn't opened yet, because we don't have a desk to sit it on. but a trip to Wal-Mart is on the agenda for tomorrow. chuck is also actively looking for a bed for the spare room for him when he visits, because he is over here almost every weekend.
