Easter Break

Easter weekend means lots of church time on a normal year.  It was weird to not have "the crew" around for all of the church services...I mean, growing up, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and several services on Sunday were the norm.  And it was the norm for all of us, being that our parents were in choir, that we'd be together.  And now, Erin didn't come home, Brad was in Europe and I briefly saw Kyle before Easter service.  Not that it was a bad weekend...as Matt keeps putting it, it was our "first Easter" together- and it was fun.  Thursday- we went to London (avoided seeing his ex, but ended up meeting a lot of his friends from London) for service...Friday we went to RUMC, for a great canatata, and then of course Sunday, 9:15 service.
It is a big -lots-of-time-in-church-weekend, but Matt and I spent time together during and before/after.  It's really great to share that with him.
It's looking like this quarter will be a great quarter.  I mean, a LOT of work, but I"m not in any non-music classes...so my focus will be music history.  I think my patience will be tested given my placement and the conflict of interest James and I seem to be having.  Its  okay, I"m working on patience.  I am.  I'm being tested in this area in many many ways.  But patience.

So Easter was great.  Having another mini-break was kinda like another spring break.  Reality of real life will be setting in...music history listening quiz tomorrow...projects beginning to pile up.
Bring it on...
time to "man up"
hahaha, that's such a dumb phrase, I like to use it.  =)
