Haha, no, that's a great point, I'm telling myself now that we should have gotten rid of him sooner.
One reason is that physiotherapists all have their schedules full and often don't take new clients. The one mom was before has become inaccessible since she can't get up the stairs anymore - yes, lots of these aren't accessible for handicapped people.
This horrible PT even came here, which was good because getting somewhere in the car has sometimes also been exhausting and painful for my mom.

The other reason is that my mom hates conflicts and in similar situations accused me of making a fuss if I confronted anyone (not even close to that scale of assholery though...). So I thought, ok, I'll just suffer it, it's HER therapy.

Now she's all "thank god he's gone, I could barely take it anymore" but she never said anything before or reacted when I said something about his rude behaviour.

Culturally all I can say (subjectively) is that people in service jobs tend to be less "servile" in Germany than in England, for example. But this rudeness is just unbelievably unprofessionell - and rude. :)

Also it most definitely wouldn't have happened like that if I was a man.

Inaccessible physiotherapists sounds like the plot of a Mister Bean act.It would be funny if it was not so frustrating for people who need their services.

Being polite to scare medical professionals people your loved ones are depending on is probably what I would have chosen to be too. I suck at being dependent. We hatesen it.

I hope your mother finds a replacement soon.
