So yesterday, I cooked my first Thanksgiving dinner. It turned out really good, except that we now have turkey coming out of our ears. That's what happens when you have two people who have never made a Thanksgiving dinner before picking out a 15 pound turkey ( Read more... )

Nice!! Yummy turkey!! Can you believe we had 12 extra people over for dinner on Sunday? Yick. That went suprisingly well... and there were some nasty comments about Marc and France in there from two of the guests... it was TOO FUNNY...

Actually - did you know that the amount of whatever it is in Turkey that makes you sleepy...you'd have to eat about 30 pounds of turkey to yourself to even have a tiny effect of it? More likely you felt sleepy from stuffing your face! Ha!

Stuff my face I did! I survived on turkey for the past 3 days and I wave my white flag. I can't take anymore!

I got my Discovery Toys kits. Fun stuff in there! Now I just need kids to test them out!

Well France asked me if I had any white paint... while I was in the middle (literally!) of finishing with dinner so that I could serve it...and when I asked her, with exasperation in my voice... "why?" She replied that it was to touch up the side of the door frame...

anyways, the husband of my mom's secretary (and good friend) tells her: "Don't you think it's a bad time to be asking for paint? She's busy right now. It's not the time, nor the place."

She looked like a deer in headlights... and went into the bathroom.

I died laughing!!! The whole night he was making cracks about how dumb and tactless she was... and how guido the husband is... (marc that is) I couldn't help but laugh laugh LAUGH!!!!

I wasn't sure. I've heard the word guido used to describe a suave male, but I was 100% sure you weren't using it in that context!

Hee, Gino works so well though. And if you have a female, it's a Gina :)
