Day 5 - Saddest Moment
I have one of these for the books and one for the movies.
The one for the books is right as Snape is dying in Deathly Hallows and he grabs Harry and says, "Look... at... me..." *tear* Poor poor Snape. I'm so sad for every part of his life, but this moment I re-read a few times because after everything that's happened and everything that Snape's done and all the punishments he's suffered for his mistakes, this was the one moment he had to see Lily's eyes as he died. His one meager reward I guess.
In the movies, in Goblet of Fire to be specific, the saddest moment is when Amos Diggory notices that it's his son's body that Harry brought back with him from the graveyard and he runs down yelling, "That's my SON!" There's always a lot of focus on the main characters and how THEY deal with the deaths of secondary characters, but this was a good glimpse into what the reality for the Diggory family would be and the suffering they would have to endure.
