I can't stop thinking about it. And so, if the LJ cut wasn't enough for you, Turn back Now. This contains Major spoilers for not just the movie, but the entire Batman Series. As many of you know, about a week ago I saw the movie "Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker". This movie reveals what we have been wondering for a while in Batman Beyond, What happened to Bruce, and what happend to Barbara.
At this point, if you have not seen the movie I don't feel bad, I have given you pleanty of warnings. I can't stop thinking of "that night" the night of the final battle with the Joker. It was so horrible, and I really mean that this time. This was one of the few times I have ever really been bothered by something bad, I mean how could he do this? With Joker's Last act of cruelty, he spoiled everything that Bruce, Barbra, Tim, and Dick had ever worked for. He stained them, traumatized them beyond any point of possible return. The look on poor Tim's face, though I didn't care for Tim (till he joined the Teen Titans), he still didn't deserve that. And it got worse, Joker took everything that Batman had been fighting for, all of his past, laughed at it. Then he started showing his sick movie of how he modified Tim, with narration even. After what he did to Tim, I just lost all sympthy for him and Harly.
I still find it admirable, that even after what happened Barbara tired to save Harly. And when Tim broke down from the laughing to crying, it made me sad. It isn't very often something touches me like this, this was special and very good. I loved it, and it cleared up so much, why Robin left, Why Barbra Quit, and so forth.
