Deacon = 11 Months !!!
My little Deaky is 11 months today :-D
Only one more month to go and he's already 1 year old. It's so hard to believe, it feels like he was just born a couple of months ago. It's a cliché but boy does time fly by....
He's been good. Getting 3 more teeth at the moment & he's walking when I hold his hands. Soon enough he'll walk on his own * so proud*
He had a strange 'thing' a few weeks back which gave me quite a scare. He had a viral infection, which isn't so bad in itself, kids get them a lot but he a bad reaction to it.
He got all this spots on his legs, arms & face. They were really red and getting bigger by the minute. Saw 2 different docs: one regular doctor and one for kids.
The last one said I had to get to the hospital 'cause it could be very dangerous if he got those on his insides :-s So I went to the ER & they admitted him.
They did loads of tests: like this bloodwork, a scan, a swab, tested his pee,....
Thankfully my collegue's mom could cover for me so I could stay the night & day with my son in the hospital.
Everything turned out ok in the end.
They said it was a 1 in a some big number (I can't remember) of getting such a reaction to a viral infection but it turned out to be harmless and should fade over time.
They said it could worsen again at some point but the spots have all but dissapeared so I'm really happy & releaved.
So if you notice some vague spots in the pics that's what happened. I'll spare you the pics from the hospital 'cause they are quite shocking (unless you're really curious of course ;-))
