Author's Note: Inspired by
wicked_joy who writes amazing drabbles. She had a very similar idea a few days ago and I totally credit her for inspiring me. I'm trying to get back into writing after this whole Brookegate mess and I still can't write Callica, so I wrote this. Enjoy!
So Cristina realizes
„So.“
„So…?“
„Are you going out on a date? You look all dolled up and you’re fidgeting. Stop fidgeting!”
“I’m going out with Erica.”
“You got all dolled up for her? Really, it can’t be that hard to attract guys in just jeans and a t-shirt, with that body.”
“I’m not going out to attract guys, I’m going out with Erica.”
“Oooh, girly girl time. Hard to believe that Attila the Hahn would take part in that. Does she listen to your *feelings* and how you just want to meet the right guy?”
Callie rolled her eyes, silently chuckling at how clueless her roommate was.
“You know what? If you’re just going to insult me and her, I think I will leave now.”
“Okay, have fun and keep her in a good mood. I might be on her service tomorrow and I can’t stand it when she’s in a bad mood.”
“Nice to know that you care about her.”
Cristina huffed, making Callie smile.
“Yeah, like I care about her.”

“So.”
“So…?”
“We should have rules.”
“Sorry, what?” Callie blinked at the words Cristina used, words she had just used days ago.
“Rules, for the apartment. I don’t want to run into Hahn at my apartment, so we need rules, or a schedule or something.”
“You can’t ban her from the apartment, it is *our* apartment. I’ll just try to only invite her over when I know that you are at Meredith’s place or at work. But if I do that then you have to keep the apartment completely Izzie and George free.”
“Easy. Why would I want those two here?”
“What about sleepovers?”
“Oh, I doubt that I’ll be having those anytime soon, now that McDreamy is in the picture again.”
“Well, Erica could sleep over. Or, you know, dates could sleep over.”
“Attila the Hahn does sleepovers? Really, what is wrong with you two? You can’t make Attila the Hahn human!”
“Meredith makes you human” Callie challenged and Cristina huffed.
“Well, whatever. Just let me know in advance if she sleeps over so I can get out of here before she gets up.”

“So”
“So…?
“Who are you cooking for?”
“Erica.”
“And why are you wearing that shirt, the one that makes your boobs look even better than usual?”
Callie rolled her eyes at Cristina’s bluntness.
“I just want to look good, that’s all.”
“Yeah, right. I’ll find out who you are dating, eventually.”
“Didn’t you say that you had to go do girly stuff with Meredith, like reading diaries?” Callie knew how to push Cristina’s buttons and made her huff once again.
“I’ll go, but I will be back later tonight, just so you know. So whoever is coming over should either be gone by then or well, you know, being done with doing the McNasty with you.”
Cristina smirked and turned to leave, not waiting for Callie’s reaction.

Four hours later, Cristina opened the door quietly, tiptoeing into the apartment. Not wanting to turn on the light, she stumbled over a pair of Callie’s heels. Cursing, she turned on the light in her room, only to realize that these weren’t Callie’s heels. They were Erica’s. Cursing even more, she picked them up and put them next to the door, checking to see whether she had damaged them. Wondering what Hahn was still doing at her apartment, Cristina cursed Callie for not telling her. Now she had to get up extra early to not run into Hahn in the morning. She went to the bathroom and got ready for bed, letting her thoughts drift. As she turned off the light and walked into her room in semi-darkness, she realized that clothes were scattered all over the living room. That’s when it hit her.
“Holy shit!”
Clasping her hand over her mouth, she quickly entered her bedroom and closed the door, listening for sounds as her heart beat wildly in her chest.
“Holy shit!” Cristina murmured again.

“So.”
“Cristina! Can you stop starting every conversation with that word? Ever since Army guy was at the hospital you’ve kept saying this and it is getting old!”
“Okay, sorry. How about that: Are you fucking Hahn?”
Callie paused, thinking about how to react. Then she smiled.
“Took you long enough. But I’m not ‘fucking’ her, I’m dating her! Well, considering what she did to me last night, maybe your assessment isn’t that incorrect.”
Cristina huffed and covered her ears, glaring at Callie.
“Spare me the details. Just promise me you won’t do anything nasty while I’m around. I don’t need to see or hear my mentor doing the McNasty!”
“Like I said, she’s not your mentor. Besides, we can be quiet if we want to. Or did we wake you this morning?”
Covering her ears again, Cristina started singing loudly as she left the room.
