First chinese part!
I had my first Chinese part last Tuesday. It was the bible reading. I was so nervous and stressed out. When I first started practicing it, I was not taking the time. I was just trying to get pronunciation and tones right. Once I started timing myself, I realized that I was only half way through the reading when the 4 minutes were over :-S
So I had to speed it up. At the end I did read it in exactly 4 minutes, but oh boy! was I sweating! I think I even forgot to breath a couple of times during the part. There were some words that were so complicated (even in English or Spanish!) with several tones variations within it. Later I found out I did mispronounce a few words here and there. One I was eating the "g" at the end, another one I was doing a "uan" sounds instead of "uen". I recorded it. I'm wondering how I can embed it here?
Anyway, in other news, I'm getting something...the flu or the cold...who knows...all I know is that I'm getting sick.
