You know you're fannish when...
...you run out of XMFC fics to read, which leads to you digging out X-Men Legends II and buying X-Men Legends.
(Funny story: accidentally bought X-Men Legends as a German game. The voice acting is in English, but everything else--menus, text within the game--is in German. It's certainly adding an extra challenge to the gameplay. XD)
Add to that the fact that I'm determined to beat all the Danger Room missions of XMLII, as that's the only way you can unlock Proffessor X. Magneto is fun to play, but I keep accidentally killing him. He's good at flying, but crap at landing. Maybe he should consider ditching the cape...
(Another funny story: all the characters say something when they die, like "Sorry I let you down, guys!" or something of the kind. Magneto's last words? "Xavier, carry on without me." Indeed, Erik, indeed.)

However, there's also the scenario when you run out of XMFC fic, and someone writes an awesome XMFC/Bond fusion.
You Know My Name by dvswraatins, Charles/Erik, Erik as Bond, of course. It made my summer. \o/ There was a point in the story where I realized that not only was Charles Halle Berry, he was SEAN BEAN! Only not bitter and not a traitor! \o/\o/\o/

My XMFC WIP list is now at 20 fics, as one got finished just the other day. I gotta say, I'm getting a bit peeved at all the WIPs. I mean, I get that there are WIPs in the kink_meme, because that's just how those things work as there are only so many words allowed in one comment. But it bugs the hell out of me that a majority of fandom can't just finish a story before posting. /grumpiness
