The intellectual giantness of six year olds
Am in Nochatland to help out because sis in law is in Stockholm for the weekend and bro still isn't 100% well.
So, what better time to write about my niece and nephews?
Ted is really impressing me, it's the first time I've heard him do it, but apparently he's been reading since shortly after Christmas, which means that he's been reading since before he turned six. He also knows how to tell time.
Thankfully, this hasn't made him a snob.
Ted: COME AND LOOK [at the tv]! It was awesome! This guy defeated this guy by burping on him in different ways! *starts making burping noises*

Sis in law also told me about an evening a while back, where they'd been looking out at the dusk sky, which was all pink and pretty, and Ted had gone: Now Flash is looking down at us from doggy heaven.
*sniff* Damn, but I miss that dog. And so does Ted, still. He keep wondering when they'll get a new Flash.
I'm pretty sure he or one of the other kids said something else I'd want to write down, but since I've got the chance now, naturally I can't think of what it was.
ETA: Remember now. I just find it infinitely amusing when nephew says "oh shit!" (that's literally what he's trying to say, the words in english). Except, it comes out a little weird, so it sounds like he's saying "oh kött!", which means "oh meat!" in swedish.
