I've officially passed the halfway mark. Today, I've been on Malta for fifty-seven days, and I have fifty-three to go. It's all downhill from here! The second half is always quicker.
My emotions are mixed. On one hand, my family! My friends! My apartment! Nature! Understanding everyone around you when they speak!
On the other hand, I'll be going back to being unemployed, which, you know, is a downer. But at least I've gotten a break from it and a little more perspective. I can whine about how I don't get a lot of money each month, just enough to eat and pay the bills, nothing else. But the price of living here? Geez. They get really low salaries and buying a house or an apartment is REALLY expensive. Sweden is much cheaper in that respect.
And hopefully things will seem less scary after, you know, going to another country, living and working there for four months. They say that it's supposed to make you grow as a person, but I don't know, I don't feel like I've grown. I'll ask Suz if I'm glowing with maturity when we meet ;)
Yes, in 19 days, my
suzvoy will arrive! For two weeks! I'm gonna try and take a few days off, coz it might be my only chance to see her this year. I've been so fortunate, I've seen her once every year for three years in a row now, this'll be the forth year. Hopefully by next year I'll have a job and an income and will be able to travel with my own money.
But whatever, my Suz is coming! In less than three weeks! *bounces around room*
Now, just one final thing. Whatever happened to
ltlj??
