Something has been bugging me. Beyond SG-1 being cancelled, I mean.
All the fans going "I hope they end the show *right*" (opinions expressed from both slash and ship directions) and people dissing 200. Which is okay, I get that not everybody liked 200, but there's a difference between saying "I didn't like it" and "they SHOULD have done THAT instead".
I just...don't get it. End it "right"? "Should" have done?
They don't owe us anything. Sure, they make the show so that it'll be enjoyable to the fans, but it's still *theirs*. It's a job they put down an enourmous amount of hours a day on, and have been for the past ten years. To say "humph, I didn't like it because they should have done it my way instead"? That just boggles my mind, coming from someone who spends 42 minutes watching it.
Maybe it's because I'm fairly easygoing. I don't require my pairing to be canon (would be hard to. Though, Daniel/Vala...). I miss Jack, but I like Cameron. I like the new direction the show's been taking. I *adore* Vala. I *loved* 200, which was filled with crack, but the good kind.
Also? The people posting about other things than SG-1, like, RL? What's that all about? ;)
