Going to the movies always gives me a buzz. Prolly because I don't go all that often, and when I do, it's always with people I adore and who don't laugh at me when I cling, since they cling too.
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
The ANGST! *is angst whore*
I really liked Keanu. I'm not overly impressed of his acting skills in general, but he did a really good job in this one.
Rachel Weisz was good too, although her American accent wasn't that good. But hey, I forgive her. My accent would slip too if I had the Devil's son in my tummy.
I was sad about Chas, but not overly. I bet he went to heaven.
Midnite kicked ass. I love that actor, and I totally don't know his name. *checks on IMDB*
Djimon Hounsou. I could prolly remember it better if I knew how to pronounce it.
But, of course, I must direct a big squee to Peter Stormare, who played the Devil.
Squeeeeeeeee! He was so *good*!
He's Swedish, you know. *does the geek dance*
To sum up, I'll end with a chat excerpt with
yamadara:
Nel: the Devil was played by a Swedish actor, you know (and it's mandatory that I say that whenever there's a Swedish actor in a foreign movie)
Yam: he was Swedish?
Nel: yup
Yam: does that mean hell is in Sweden?
Nel: if so, it has finally frozen over
