(no subject)
eeeek a mouse!!!
This weekend was a mostly stay in and avoid the heat weekend except for saturday when we went to the l.a. zoo. I swear that zoo and the santa barbara zoo are so depressing. I think the only decent zoos I have been to are the sand diego zoo and the wild animal park in san diego.
Then saturday night I noticed IFC channel was doing a slasher film night so I was pretty happy. The were showing Friday the 13th, Humanoids from the deep, My bloody Valentine, April Fool's Day, Slumber Party Massacre and the Boogens. I was all happy they showed most of the moves letterboxed :)
I have so been in a slasher movie mood so the little marathon saturday night was just perfect.
So this morning I wake up find out there is a little mouse on my balcony hiding under a plant. So I throw my slippers on and grab a paper cup and nudge him into the cup. At first I kept the cup covered but realized he was too scared to hop out so I just carried him outside and went to put him in the bushes but he wouldnt leave and he looked all sad so I held the cup out and he hopped right back in. So I go to another part of the complex to drop him off and realize it didnt look happy so again I held the cup out and the little guy hopped back in the cup. So, in my big fluffy slippers looking ever so white trash im sure I go accross the street and let him out in the nice thick grass in the park. This time he decided to take off so I guess I picked the right spot for him haha . It's a good thing my cat didnt notice him because he would have actually gone out and brought me the mouse. Funny thing about my cat tho... he would have brought me the little guy unharmed. :)
