Since I like to blab a little too much and I had promised vanryo some character comments, I take the chance to make a general post about my general impression on the shows I'm watching.

True Blood

I'm finishing season three and I'm liking this show definitely more than I thought. I've always liked vampires but... well, you know what the situation is at the moment "XD I had initially started The Vampire Diaries since it seemed a better version of that other show [cit. needed], but True Blood is definitely the one I prefer: the characters may not be perfect but they're belivable and most important so are their interactions. They're all adults which is good even if some of them look way younger than they are (YES JASON I'M TALKING ABOUT YOU),  vampires act like vampires, the storyline is intriguing (I've never got bored so far), the ost is fantastic, there's a lot of fanservice and... well, overall, it's pretty damn good.
And about the characters, since I promised... vanryo probably already knows this since I think I spammed twitter enough, but *coff* if I had to pick a favorite it would be Sam. I realize that from a character's point of view there are others far more interesting than him, but... this type of character just pushes at an open door with me "XD He's the classic good boy, kind to everyone and sometimes a bit too much for his own good, he's special but not too much (not to mention his other self definitely fit his character), he's pretty hot *coff* but mostly he's just so jinxed XD But I hope he gets it right eventually.
Another character I really like, and at first I didn't expect to, is Jessica. Not only she's a teenager among adults, she's a young-vampire too so I think her character stands out particularly, not to mention I feel very sympathetic for her actual condition. I kind of couldn't stand her at first but she's got really lovely and the relationship she's starting to develop with Bill is absolutely adorable. (gosh how I love these relationships between makers and their children)
About the main trio, well... Sookie is okay I guess? I don't hate her, she's quite interesting and at least she's not totally helpless, but I'm not crazy for her neither. Actually, in certain occasions I really don't know if I should laugh or feel sorry for her because of her reactions "XD She can be quite awkward sometimes.
Eric is extremely sexy and I just love his character: he's a bit the guy you like and care for even though he's supposed to be not exactly good, but he has those moments (like with Godric- gosh, the breakdown with Godric- or Pam) when you'd just want to give him a hug and cheer for him. (he'd probably bite your hand off, but hey)
But I must say that I'm definitely Team Bill, at least for now. I think Bill is a very charming character, not as intriguing as Eric, but absolutely interesting. His back story is very "Interview with the Vampire", for setting and type of character and I love that (though gosh, his maker was such a pain in the ass) and I adore his relationship with Sookie. I don't know what it is that has shocked the fans but so far I got the feeling he's genuinely in love with her and I just couldn't not cheer for him.
The other characters are all ok, I don't think I particularly hate anyone anymore. Of course, Jason is a total idiot and at this point I think he'll never change. Just when you think he's on the good path again, bam! There he goes. To think he would be such a nice boy if he just had a brain.
Bonus points to Alcide, which is a new entry but he's an incredibly sober character, not to mention very hot, and of course, Terry. It's impossible not to love Terry, whatever he does or say. Such a golden man <3

Once Upon a Time

Well, this was an incredibly pleasant surprise. Fairytales mixed with present time? HECK I'M IN :D
I kind of hoped for a story like this since I discovered Fables, but OUAT has definitely the setting and atmosphere I was looking for: modern times, but still fairytaleish.
Not to mention the writers are from Lost, and while I'm not basing just on that... you can really feel it. Especially how they're managing the main story in the present with parallel numerous flashbacks on the fairytale character's lives, not to mention the twists you don't expect (oh how they're good at them). I must admit I quite like this new version of Snow White, the fairytale stays true to its name even with this different take and it makes you curious about the whole thing. And I ship her and Charming so much asfsdhsfhkjh
The story seems promising so I really look forward to see what this show has to give us :D

Glee

Yup, I've finally started this third season.
To say the truth, I was a bit afraid I wouldn’t have liked it that much because I hadn’t read very positive comments around. But, I’ve just finished to watch episode 5 and all I can say is that I’m loving it.
Glee is a show I’ve always liked: it has a lot good points, I love the characters, the music is great, and sometimes there’s just that sparkle that makes the episode very beautiful. It’s not a show free of flaws neither, the general lack of coherency being the one I hate the most, but it’s something I learnt to live with. This third season has just started, and while those flaws are still there (just a little bit less, but then again we’re just at the beginning), what I can say is that I’m enjoying it very much and I don’t find it so weak as I had imagined. The thing I like the most is the general atmosphere which is more focused on the character’s growth and projects for the future, since this season means the last for many characters (and that’s why I kind of hope there won’t be another  season after this). I love the new entries: it's great to have Blaine at the McKinley, Rory is adorable for what I saw and Sebastian… ok, let’s talk about it. He’s FABULOUS. I mean, he’s just that type of character who makes ovaries explode, that you have them or not. It’s so refreshing to see such a character in this show, he adds a lot and he’s very interesting to see for the different attitude he has compared to Kurt and Blaine. Man, now I know why so many people love this character XD
And, not exactly a new entry, but I love what they did with Mike. He’s always been a side character even when being in the main group, and I really really like how they’re giving him his space now because it’s incredibly good to see.
On the other hand, I’m seriously disliking Quinn. I’ve always liked her character, even when she acted bitchy or made questionable things in the previous seasons, because it somehow stayed still true to the character without making it unbelievable. Which is not happening here. Come on, a punk? Despite the fact that was pretty extreme even for her, it was a phase, ok. But all the crap she’s putting to have her daughter back? Gosh dudette. Just no.
Oh, a final little thing: I love how they’re managing Will and Emma now. I’ve always liked this couple a lot but in the second season… gosh, I still don’t understand what the hell happened there. But what’s important is that they’re absolutely adorable together now and this is exactly how I would have wanted to see them.

Aand I’m sure next episodes will probably manage to change all of my opinions just now because that’s the risk with Glee, but for now? Totally satisfied.

Fate/Zero

Yes, I know I've blabbed about it in the previous post, don't worry I'm not starting again. I wouldn't even be able to convey properly the awesome feelings I have about this, so.
All I want to say is: FOR EVERYTHING THAT'S GOOD IN THE WORLD, GIVE THIS SERIES A LOOK.
I don't care if you're not familiar with the Fate world (it's a prequel so it doesn't matter anyway) or anything else: this series is fuckin fantastic and absolutely one of the best anime of the year. And personally one of my favorite series ever.
Yes I just wanted to say that, I'll go back in the corner now.

edit: this post was supposed to have videos, but since lj is a giant dick, I gave up. I hate you lj.
