Saving Private Daylight
As I've mentioned before, I have a part-time job Sunday mornings. I run the board for the church broadcasts at the radio station here in town. As such, Daylight Saving directly affects me when it happens.
This morning, as I woke, I thought to myself, "Man, Daylight Saving should end every week!" That extra hour was noticeably great.
Then I got to work, and during one of the church services, I actually heard one of the pastors thank God for the extra hour of sleep they all got to have that morning.
It's really hard not to call that the most retarded thing I've ever heard. I now take back everything good I said or thought about the end of Daylight Saving Time.
