So, the Date

Apparently complaining about my back has made me seem like more of a stud than it was intended to -- by which I mean it made me seem a stud at all.

I had a really nice evening, predominantly because I've met a woman with an interest in me who thinks that my frankness is refreshing. I've never had a first date in which we both laid so many of our cards on the table; I told her I'm an atheist with no designs on children or marriage and a temperament towards polyamory (the latter is the only thing she didn't care for, but it's more philosophical for me than anything else), she told me about a handful of her big flaws, and we each departed on a note that with perhaps any other person would not have been appropriate for a first date, and we both appear to have had a good enough time to have another date this Thursday (me, her, a vegetarian pizza and The X-Files). So, while we did not get physical, I do feel we had a sort of intimacy last night.

Just not the kind that can screw up a person's back.

brain melt, the ladies
