[The first thing you'll notice is the fire. It's burning everywhere, hot - getting hotter and hotter - it's everywhere, all around you. There's people screaming too, somewhere out there, there's a lot of screaming, shouting, and as much as the air reeks of burning, desperation is a dark blanket over everything.
It makes it even harder to breathe.
Gil's running. He's still a child, and he's running through these corridors, a sword too big for him in his hands. He's doing his best not to trip over it but it's hard and it's heavy, but he's not going to give up.
He has to get to him. He's going to get to them in time and he's going to save him. That's his job. He's going to - he's got to do this. It doesn't matter that he's still aching from whatever ritual was being performed, it doesn't matter that he's confused.
And maybe he's not a child anymore, but the desperation's the same. He's got to find him. He's got to find him but it's all too much; there's too much screaming, and it's a gun not a sword in his hands. But in the end, it's the same thing.
His master's out there somewhere, and Gil has to find him and Gil has to protect him. Because his master won't protect himself. Not well enough.]
