I called the boss today to find out what exactly happened.
Apparently there were mystery shoppers around the BP I was working at on Monday. They must have caught the tail-end of our work day, because it was something that happened just after I knocked off for the day.
I got along really well with the guy on night-shift at the BP, and we exchanged numbers. I wasnt wearing my credentials, it shouldnt have been a problem. The mystery shopper told the manager of the BP, and they told the head office in Sydney, who then notified the company I work for.
I have to wait a painful 24 hours to find out whether I've been terminated or not. Apparently, the campaign I was working on was "highly sensitive". Whatever. All I know is that I'm not doing that campaign anymore...
