Writer's Block: Word for Word
Wow, this is a really sad prompt. Specifically the part that says "if any." I literally know 100's of songs, from hymns to Christmas songs, patriotic songs, Disney musical songs (Zip-a-dee-doo-dah! It's a Disney Day!), oldies, most of The Carpenters' songs, country songs from 1992 to 1997, some pop songs from 1998-1999, Christian music from 1996--now, and of course, a pretty large selection of J-Pop music from anime, video games, and the like. If I listed them all it would take a very long time.
News:
OUCH! My foot hurts like the dickens. I went to a 3rd doctor who finally gave me the correct diagnosis. It's a plantars wart.
Yay, HPV! My doctor put some acid on it to kill it. It started with a burning sensation which moved to stabbing pain when the area is touched. I was up 'til 2am Tuesday night dealing with it. I called in yesterday and spent the day with my foot up. Today I sucked it up and went to work. DX I hate walking. I have to walk on my toes on the right foot to not put pressure on my heel. I feel like I'm doing The Pony. ::sighs::
And it's tiring. But I guess you could tell, eh?
I did show my kids and they were sufficiently impressed. But I wasn't as impressive as K who fell off the monkey bars and broke her arm in two places (not on my watch!!!!!!!). Too bad she's got to miss out on the rest of the swim days. ^^ Maybe we'll all sign her cast.
Whine: I also watched a ton of Animal Planet yesterday. I want a cat. Like big time. I seriously know what cbearfei went through when his mom wouldn't let him get a cat. @___@ Too bad I have to wait until I'm no longer renting. Phooey.
Dreaming:
I would really like to go back to school and get my master's degree in reading. As in teaching it, though a master's in reading where I read for pleasure would rock! XD I think I would make a pretty good professor in the future, too. I could actually MODEL the appropriate teaching methods IN MY CLASS. I know that's a really radical idea, but I bet the students would come around to it. XDDDDD
Now where to find the time and money......e.e
