[OneShot]When the Princes have Plan
Every member of Hey! Say! JUMP got the letter. They didn’t really understand the meaning of the sentence.
“What if the princes are us?” Hikaru asked to the members as they were discussing about the sentence in the letter.
“Then, what it’s mean by ‘fall in dark’?” Daiki asked. He started to feel uneasy.
“Whatever it is, I don’t think it’s a good thing.” Inoo continued the discussion. Everyone kept in silent, thinking about Inoo’s words. All of them suspect it was a hint of a bad thing but what it is? What bad thing would happen to them?
“I think ‘fall in dark roses’ means die.” Yamada suddenly said while his eyes looked seriously at the letter. He said it based on his experience acting in detective drama. It really helped him to come out with good deduction. Everyone turned to Yamada with shock. Chinen started holding Daiki arm tighly. Daiki replied Chinen reaction by rubbed Chinen hand gently.
“I’m scared,” Ryutaro held Yabu’s hand. Yabu smiled at Ryutaro and rubbed his head. Ryutaro started to feel safe when Yabu did that.
“Maybe someone just wants to play prank,” Yuto tried to make the atmosphere less dense. The members tried to believe Yuto’s words but who would do this?
“Minna, just calm down. Maybe Yuto was right. We can’t let this letter disturb our mind. All we got to do is focus to our work. About this letter case, we’ll settle it later.” Yabu said it as he didn’t want the members over thinking about the letter although he himself felt suspicious with the letter.
“JUMP! The photo shoot will start soon. Hope you guys are ready.” A staff entered their dressing room. The members just nodded their head and walked off to the studio.

After the photo shoot, all of them walked to their dressing room.
“Tomorrow is Yabu’s birthday, right?” Chinen asked the members. Everyone looked at Chinen and smiled.
“Yeah, Chii. Yabu, what if we celebrate it together?” Daiki answered and asked.
“I like the idea. Yabu always celebrate it with his family only. All we can do is sending him a happy birthday mail and give him present tomorrow morning.” Yuto tried to convince Yabu.
Hikaru patted Yabu’s shoulder.
“Let’s have some differences this year,” Hikaru tried too. Yabu looked at the members faces and nodded.
“Okay, I would like to know how it’ll work,” Yabu said it with a smile. He was glad that the members memorized his birthday.
“Maybe we can use our practice room for the celebration,” Inoo tried to give suggestion.
“Can we enter Johnnys building at night?” Ryutaro asked as he is curious.
“Of course we can. Anyway we don’t want to disturb anyone from their nice dream if we do the celebration at our house and our practice room get enough space for ten of us.” Hikaru agreed with Inoo’s idea.
“I don’t mind, anywhere is okay with me,” Yabu said joyfully. He couldn’t wait for the celebration. Everyone was excited about it too. Ryutaro and Chinen kept talking about the flavour of the cake, balloons and decoration of the room. Yamada suggested about a theme for the celebration. Yuto was arguing about why Ryutaro give Yabu a hamster. Hikaru was talking about his birthday that was a month before Yabu. Inoo wanted to wear costume to the celebration. Takaki wanted pizza and spaghetti in the menu list. Keito discuss with Daiki about adding some surprise to their present. However, each of them still thinks about the content of the letter that they all received.

Yabu looked at his wristwatch. He was late for the party. He supposed to be there by 11.30 pm but now it was 11.45 pm. He ran out of his room.
“Kota, aren’t you supposed to celebrate your birthday with you friend?” Mr. Yabu asked when his son rushed to the door.
“I’m going,” Yabu replied and went out. Yabu ran in high-speed but suddenly a piece of paper fell from his pocket. He stopped to pick that paper. It was the warning letter. He read it again.
“I couldn’t find any clue from this sentence,” He said to himself, forgetting about he was late. He kept thinking about the letter.
’10 princes are us. ‘Fall in dark roses’ is dying. But what are the other words mean?’ Unexpectedly his wristwatch was beeping.
“What? It’s already 12. I’m late.” He quickly rushed to Johnny’s building.
‘This is the start of my birthday. I wonder what I’ll get from JUMP, Juniors and senpais,’ Yabu thought. Suddenly he remembered the sentence from the letter. He stopped himself and read the letter again.
‘What if ‘it begins to end’ is the start of 31st January? ‘The end for the first’ is the last day of January and that is 31st.’ Yabu was shocked with the meaning of the letter that he thought himself. He was worried about the members so he quickly kept the letter and run more quickly to Johnny’s building. He didn’t know whether the letter was a prank or serious but he had an uneasy feeling about it.
‘It’s already 12. I hope I reach there before anything happen,’ Yabu thought while running.

When he reached the building, he was surprised to see the building was dark. There was not a single light existed.
“Do the members already here? Or they’re had cancelled it?” Yabu asked himself. He entered the building and search for the switch. He used his cell phone light to lead him. He found it and clicked it but it was still dark.
“Eh? Black out!” Yabu said to himself with a complain voice.
“Maybe they didn’t here yet. I should warn Hikaru about the letter before anything happen.” Yabu said as his finger press the call button. Suddenly, he heard a sound. That sound, he recognized it.
“Hikaru! Where are you?” Yabu walked slowly towards the sound.
“Hikaru! Answer me!” Yabu almost shouted. After a few steps, he turned left and his eyes were widely opened when he saw a black figure. It was a person and it hanging. The head was covered by the hood. He fell on his butt when he noticed the figure that was hanging in front of him was Hikaru. He knew because he recognized the sweater, the pants, the shoes and the ringtone.
Tik! Tik! His eyes scrolled down and saw Hikaru’s phone was vibrated, lighted and covered with blood that dropped from his shoes. Red petals were suddenly falling and landed on the floor.
“AAAARGGGHHH!” A scream was heard. Yabu quickly turned towards the scream. He stood up quickly.
“Inoo! Are you okay?” Yabu shouted so Inoo could hear him and rushed to the Inoo voice. He ran and ran and stopped at a stairs. A body was lying on the stairs with his head down at the down side of the stairs and the legs at the upper side of the stairs. Yabu came closer to the body and his heart beat faster when he saw Inoo was bleeding. The stairs was full with blood and red rose petals. Looking at the amount of the blood he knew he was too late.
“What do you want from us?” He heard a voice upstairs. ‘Dai-chan’ He thought. Despite the blood, he ran upstairs through the bleeding stairs. When he reached the floor he looked left and right. ‘Which way could Daiki be?’ He thought. Suddenly, he heard a sound, rushing steps. It was at the right. He turned right and ran quickly. He saw a figure was sitting and leaning at the wall. When he came closer, he was surprise to see an arrow stroked exactly at his left chest. Red liquid flooded the shirt that Daiki’s wore and red petals on the blood.
“WWHHHYYYY?” Yabu screamed to himself. He couldn’t think now. There were too much horror images in his mind. He breathed hardly and rapidly as he kept running from the start.
“I don’t understand. Why you did this to us?” Yabu begged. He started to feel regret for being late; late for realizing the meaning of the letter, late for informing the members and late for saving the members. He sighed.
“Sniff…Sniff…” Suddenly he heard sobs. He knew that cry. He walked slowly to the sound. Then, he saw a little boy was holding his both knees with two bodies lying on the floor. Blood and the red rose petals were everywhere, on the floor, on the wall and the bodies.
“Ryutaro,” Yabu called him softly. Ryutaro rose up his head to look at the owner of the voice. He quickly ran to Yabu and cried even worse in Yabu’s hold. Yabu rubbed his head gently. They stayed in that position for a while.
“He kills Yama-chan and Yuto,” Ryutaro started voicing but still in his sobs. Yabu nodded his head as a sign he understood.
“Chii and Keito chase him,” Ryutaro resumed his talks.
Bang! Bang! Shots were heard. It was echoing in the building. Yabu held Ryutaro’s hand and pulled him but Ryutaro didn’t follow him. He just stayed at his position.
“We can’t leave Yama-chan and Yuto alone. Yama-chan will scare.” Ryutaro begged to Yabu. Yabu shook his head.
“Yama-chan wouldn’t be scare anymore. He was with Yuto,” Yabu explained to Ryutaro. Ryutaro took a glance at the bodies of the pair and followed Yabu’s steps.
Ryutaro covered his mouth with his palm when he saw Chii was soaked with blood and the blood that flooded at Keito head. Then, he blinked his eyes as he wanted it just be a dream but when he opened his eyes back, it still the same.
Chii’s head was on Keito’s waist as Keito was lying. There were red petals on their bodies and floor. There was a hole that filled with blood at the left side of Keito’s head. Both; Yabu and Ryutaro were sure it was because of the shots that they heard. Yabu was kneeing in front of Ryutaro with his back was facing Ryutaro. Ryutaro didn’t understand with Yabu’s reaction.
“Jump on,” Yabu said to Ryutaro. Ryutaro leaned on Yabu’s back and held Yabu’s shoulder. Yabu stood up when he was ready and sprinted.
“I’m sorry, Ryutaro. I’m just too late but I promise I’ll save you. We’ll get out from this building before anything worse happen.” Yabu said while he was running toward the exit.
“NO!! I don’t want to leave them here.” Ryutaro cried in Yabu’s shoulder as Yabu was carrying him on the back. Yabu stopped his steps. He put Ryutaro down slowly and looked into Ryutaro’s tearing eyes.
“Okay, Ryu. We’ll bring all of them out of this building.” Yabu nodded his head. It might be not possible but he knew what Ryutaro felt. Ryutaro looked into Yabu’s eyes and penetrated through it. Ryutaro smiled. Suddenly, Yabu’s phone vibrated. He took it out from his pocket and saw Takaki’s name on it.
“Takaki! Where are you?” Yabu quickly asked after he pressed the call button.
“Shower room. Help me! He was…” The connection was unexpectedly cut. Yabu looked at Ryutaro that was wiping his tear. He piggy back Ryutaro and rushed towards their shower room. There were lots shower room in the building but he was sure Takaki was there. He held Ryutaro tighter. ‘I’ll never leave you guys alone again,’ Yabu thought.
“Takaki!” Yabu opened the door. A sound was heard. It was from one of the shower cubicle. Sound of water. Yabu opened each of the cubicles and now he was at the last cubicle. He opened it slowly. Ryutaro drowned his head into Yabu’s shirt when he saw the scene. Takaki was leaning at the wall and was soaked. His white shirt turned into red and water was flowing from the shower. There was blood flowing from his mouth and nose. Red petals are everywhere on his bodies. Suddenly, Ryutaro got down from Yabu’s back and ran out of the room.
“Ryu! It’s danger to go alone!” Yabu quickly chased Ryutaro. However, when he stepped out of the room, he had lost sight of Ryutaro. Yabu clapped his forehead. He sighed.
Crack! A sound was heard from their practice room. Yabu opened the door slowly as he didn’t want the killer to know where he was.
“Surprise! Happy birthday, Yabu!” Suddenly, the light was on and 9 members were standing before his eyes. They looked fine and their clothes had changed. The room had been decorated with balloons and other decorations. Yabu was shocked, again. Then, they laughed but not Yabu.
“Yabu frighten face is so funny.” Inoo laughed unstoppable.
“Yeah, and you’re panic too.” Takaki almost fell because of the laugh.
“You look so serious.” Daiki held his stomach as he laugh too loud.
“So, you think this is funny!” Yabu voice sounded as he was mad. He almost shouted but he was facing the floor, didn’t look at the member. Everyone stopped laughing, slowly looked at Yabu’s response.
“Yabu, we’re sorry,” Yuto started to apologize but there still no positive response from Yabu. Hikaru stepped forwards, closer to Yabu.
“It’s my fault to create all this. Please, don’t scold them.” Hikaru said as he took another step closer to Yabu.
“Yabu, I’m truly sorry.” Yabu still didn’t raise his head.
“I’m really …” Hikaru could continue his words when Yabu suddenly hugged him. Hikaru was surprised. The members were shocked too.
“Don’t do this again.” Yabu said it in tear as he was crying.
“Yabu kawaii!!” Inoo pinched Yabu’s cheek. Yabu let go his hug and wiped his tears. Then, he smiled.
“Yabu really cute. Now, it’s my turn to squeeze you.” Yamada pinched Yabu’s cheek. Then, Yabu blushed.
“Eh? Yabu is blushing.” Takaki giggled.
“You guys know I’m not good at compliment.” Yabu said. Everyone laughed except Chinen. Yabu noticed it.
“Don’t worry, Chii. You’re still the cutest.” Yabu rubbed Chinen head gently. Chinen looked at Yabu smiling face and smiled.
“Hikaru is not fair. He using dummy for the plan.” Inoo was complaining to Yabu.
“I can’t hang myself. I’ll be dead for real.” Hikaru tried to defend himself.
“Ryutaro is not fair too. He didn’t even have to act dead.” Keito was complaining.
“But my act is harder. I have to cry and I did it. Yabu really believe in my act. I’m such a genius,” Ryutaro said it proudly.
“Yeah! But it was Hikaru who plan this.” Inoo pointed at Hikaru.
“So, you’re the one who send the letters.” Yabu sounded like asking.
“No, it was Inoo.” Hikaru pointed at Inoo. Inoo shook his head.
“Not me,” Inoo spoke.
“Then, who?” Right after Yabu said it the light gone again. It turned dark once again. The members looked at each other. Suddenly, sounds of steps were heard. The steps were really slow.
“It’s me,” The light on again and Shoon was seen standing in front of the door with a gift at his hand.
“I’m the one who send it to all of you.” Shoon said happily.
“Happy birthday, Pal.” Shoon gave the gift to Yabu.
“I’m inviting others too.” Shoon pointed at the door and B.I Shadow came out. Nakajima quickly rushed to Yamada.
“This is not your birthday but I still have a gift for you, Yamada-kun.” Nakajima said to Yamada. Yamada smiled weirdly but still taking the gift from Nakajima.
“Yabu-kun, this is for you.” Kikuchi gave Yabu a box that as big as shoes box. Yabu smiled and patted Kikuchi shoulder.
“Thanks, Fuma.” Yabu said it kindly and Fuma blushed. Takahata just stared at his bandmates from far, thinking why he had to follow them.
“Yabuchi! How are you?” Jin came out from the door and followed by Kame.
“I’m fine,” Yabu answered. There were other senpais and Juniors came that night. They were so happy celebrating Yabu’s birthday. For the Juniors, celebrating their ex-leader is important as he had done much for them. For the senpais, watching their cute little angel growing into a nice man is happiness. However, he was stills their cute little brother, always and forever.
“Shoon, why did you send us the letters?” Hikaru asked as he was curious.
“I overheard about your plan with Inoo. I told Hashi and he say maybe we could make a plan too.” Shoon said joyfully as his plan was a success.
“Hey! Do you see Yabu?” Jin asked as he didn’t see Yabu anywhere.
“He is here,” Inoo said as he was standing beside a couch. Yabu was sleeping silently on the couch. They giggled looking at Yabu. He looked so cool at outside but cute inside.
“He must be tired because of the horror he had gone through today,” Hikaru said it with a low voice as he didn’t want to wake Yabu up.
“Yabu kawaii!” Chinen said it and pecked Yabu’s cheek.

There were lots shower room in the building but he was sure Takaki was there. He held Ryutaro tighter. ‘I’ll never leave you guys alone again,’ Yabu thought.
“Takaki!” Yabu opened the door. A sound was heard. It was from one of the shower cubicle. Sound of water. Yabu opened each of the cubicles and now he was at the last cubicle. He opened it slowly. Ryutaro drowned his head into Yabu’s shirt when he saw the scene. Takaki was leaning at the wall and was soaked. His white shirt turned into red and water was flowing from the shower. There was blood flowing from his mouth and nose. Red petals are everywhere on his bodies. Suddenly, Ryutaro got down from Yabu’s back and ran out of the room.
“Ryu! It’s danger to go alone!” Yabu quickly chased Ryutaro. However, when he stepped out of the room, he had lost sight of Ryutaro. Yabu clapped his forehead. He sighed.
Crack! A sound was heard from their practice room. Yabu opened the door slowly as he didn’t want the killer to know where he was.
“Surprise! Happy birthday, Yabu!” Suddenly, the light was on and 9 members were standing before his eyes. They looked fine and their clothes had changed. The room had been decorated with balloons and other decorations. Yabu was shocked, again. Then, they laughed but not Yabu.
“Yabu frighten face is so funny.” Inoo laughed unstoppable.
“Yeah, and you’re panic too.” Takaki almost fell because of the laugh.
“You look so serious.” Daiki held his stomach as he laugh too loud.
“So, you think this is funny!” Yabu voice sounded as he was mad. He almost shouted but he was facing the floor, didn’t look at the member. Everyone stopped laughing, slowly looked at Yabu’s response.
“Yabu, we’re sorry,” Yuto started to apologize but there still no positive response from Yabu. Hikaru stepped forwards, closer to Yabu.
“It’s my fault to create all this. Please, don’t scold them.” Hikaru said as he took another step closer to Yabu.
“Yabu, I’m truly sorry.” Yabu still didn’t raise his head.
“I’m really …” Hikaru could continue his words when Yabu suddenly hugged him. Hikaru was surprised. The members were shocked too.
“Don’t do this again.” Yabu said it in tear as he was crying.
“Yabu kawaii!!” Inoo pinched Yabu’s cheek. Yabu let go his hug and wiped his tears. Then, he smiled.
“Yabu really cute. Now, it’s my turn to squeeze you.” Yamada pinched Yabu’s cheek. Then, Yabu blushed.
“Eh? Yabu is blushing.” Takaki giggled.
“You guys know I’m not good at compliment.” Yabu said. Everyone laughed except Chinen. Yabu noticed it.
“Don’t worry, Chii. You’re still the cutest.” Yabu rubbed Chinen head gently. Chinen looked at Yabu smiling face and smiled.
“Hikaru is not fair. He using dummy for the plan.” Inoo was complaining to Yabu.
“I can’t hang myself. I’ll be dead for real.” Hikaru tried to defend himself.
“Ryutaro is not fair too. He didn’t even have to act dead.” Keito was complaining.
“But my act is harder. I have to cry and I did it. Yabu really believe in my act. I’m such a genius,” Ryutaro said it proudly.
“Yeah! But it was Hikaru who plan this.” Inoo pointed at Hikaru.
“So, you’re the one who send the letters.” Yabu sounded like asking.
“No, it was Inoo.” Hikaru pointed at Inoo. Inoo shook his head.
“Not me,” Inoo spoke.
“Then, who?” Right after Yabu said it the light gone again. It turned dark once again. The members looked at each other. Suddenly, sounds of steps were heard. The steps were really slow.
“It’s me,” The light on again and Shoon was seen standing in front of the door with a gift at his hand.
“I’m the one who send it to all of you.” Shoon said happily.
“Happy birthday, Pal.” Shoon gave the gift to Yabu.
“I’m inviting others too.” Shoon pointed at the door and B.I Shadow came out. Nakajima quickly rushed to Yamada.
“This is not your birthday but I still have a gift for you, Yamada-kun.” Nakajima said to Yamada. Yamada smiled weirdly but still taking the gift from Nakajima.
“Yabu-kun, this is for you.” Kikuchi gave Yabu a box that as big as shoes box. Yabu smiled and patted Kikuchi shoulder.
“Thanks, Fuma.” Yabu said it kindly and Fuma blushed. Takahata just stared at his bandmates from far, thinking why he had to follow them.
“Yabuchi! How are you?” Jin came out from the door and followed by Kame.
“I’m fine,” Yabu answered. There were other senpais and Juniors came that night. They were so happy celebrating Yabu’s birthday. For the Juniors, celebrating their ex-leader is important as he had done much for them. For the senpais, watching their cute little angel growing into a nice man is happiness. However, he was stills their cute little brother, always and forever.
“Shoon, why did you send us the letters?” Hikaru asked as he was curious.
“I overheard about your plan with Inoo. I told Hashi and he say maybe we could make a plan too.” Shoon said joyfully as his plan was a success.
“Hey! Do you see Yabu?” Jin asked as he didn’t see Yabu anywhere.
“He is here,” Inoo said as he was standing beside a couch. Yabu was sleeping silently on the couch. They giggled looking at Yabu. He looked so cool at outside but cute inside.
“He must be tired because of the horror he had gone through today,” Hikaru said it with a low voice as he didn’t want to wake Yabu up.
“Yabu kawaii!” Chinen said it and pecked Yabu’s cheek.
