Chapter 12
Last confession
“Mirai and Mayuko would like to know too, right?” Ryosuke suddenly said and turned to the door of the roof top. Yuto was shocked. He didn’t notice they were there.
“Oh no! He catches us,” Mayuko panicked.
“Let’s just go out and apologized,” Mirai said.
“Sound like a good idea but…”Mayuko looked at Mirai and suddenly turned away. She made quick steps towards opposite direction from the roof top door. Mirai took Mayuko hand before she ran further.
“You don’t think about leaving me alone here, right?” Mirai asked smirking.
“Okay,” Mayuko answered forcedly and both of them got out of the door.
“We’re sorry, guys.” Mirai apologized. Both Mirai and Mayuko were looking down to the floor, scared and guilty.
“We need to go. Let’s go Yuto.” Ryosuke ordered and rushed to the door. Yuto followed Ryosuke steps. In his mind what more important was Yuri and Shintaro.
“We’ll follow,” Mayuko said.
“This thing has nothing with you. Better leave it to us,” Yuto said before he gone behind the door.
“Who cares?” Mirai said and pulled Mayuko hand again following both Ryosuke and Yuto.
Ryutaro reached the place and saw Yuri and Shintaro were tied at a pole. Both of them had passed out. A guy was wearing a mask walked out from a dark side of the warehouse. The guy stood exactly behind Yuri and Shintaro. He pointed both guns in his both hand to Yuri and Shintaro head.
“What do you want?” Ryutaro asked anxiously and took out his sword.
“Don’t be such in a rush, little pawn,” The guy said in an altered voice. Ryutaro couldn’t see his reaction behind that mask but from his voice Ryutaro knew he didn’t care about Yuri and Ryutaro’s life.
“Ryu!” Yuri suddenly awoke.
“Chinen! Are you okay?” Ryutaro asked and stepped closer to Chinen.
“Don’t move! Or I kill both of them,” The guy shouted. Ryutaro stopped.
The guy moved forwards and getting closer to Ryutaro.
“If you must choose who will live between this two, who will you pick?” The guy asked as he was closer to Ryutaro. Ryutaro didn’t answer. He looked at Shintaro and Chinen. He loved both. Both were important to him.
“Pick Shintaro, Ryu. I’m…” Yuri answered.
“Shut up!” The guy shouted and pointed the gun to Yuri. Yuri glared at the guy fiercely as he really annoyed with the guy.
“I can’t choose,” Ryutaro said in a low voice and nodded down. His right hand slowly went to his sword at the side of his waist.
“But I can choose YOU!” Ryutaro pulled out his sword and slide it towards the guy. It tore the clothes that the guy wore and almost touched the skin because the guy had slightly retreat.
“I’m can’t be choose,” The guy said and smirked and jumped over Ryutaro. He landed accurately behind Ryutaro and kicked Ryutaro back. Ryutaro fell on his chest.
“Why not?” Ryutaro smirked and stoop up back.
“Because I already choose you,” Ryutaro rose up his sword, ready to strike.
“Then I’ll just have to take your life before you could take mine,” The guy kept one of his gun at the side of his belt and pointed another one at Ryutaro.
“No Ryutaro. He is just too strong,” Yuri warned, trying to break the rope that tied him.
“Don’t worry Yuri,” Ryutaro said coldly and started his move.
Ryutaro was attacking the guy but the guy kept retreating. He tried to move faster but the guy just kept better escaping the attack. Suddenly, the gun had touched Ryutaro forehead but at the same time Ryutaro’s sword was placed exactly in front of the guy’s waist.
“You’re better than I thought,” The guy said and stepped backward.
“But not enough,” The guy started shooting. Ryutaro escaped certain bullet and some of it he blocked with his sword.
BANG!
Ryutaro fell when a bullet went precisely at his right shoulder and the sword at his hand was released automatically. Ryutaro hold the wound using his left hand. Blood flowed had been slowed.
“Ryu!” Yuri shouted when he saw the scene. He really wanted to help him but he couldn’t.
“Ryu! Stop! Just choose me,” Yuri said almost cried, kept struggling from the tie.
“Why won’t you just follow your friend suggestion?” The guy stepped closer to Ryutaro who still lying on the floor. Ryutaro glared at the guy angrily.
“That would be easier for both of us, right? Special pawn of Chess,” The guy stood beside Ryutaro and pointed the gun at Ryutaro’s head. Ryutaro smirked. Unexpectedly, Ryutaro leaped and kicked the gun. The gun fell from the guy’s hand but before it could land Ryutaro grabbed it.
“Who are you? The Ace?” Ryutaro asked pointing the gun at his enemy.
“Why would I kill my companion? I’m neither The Ace nor Chess.” The guy said brashly.
“What is your intention?” Ryutaro asked again. The guy didn’t answer but he looped and kicked Ryutaro head. Ryutaro’s head knocked hardly at steel pole and bleed heavily. Ryutaro fell on his head and looked weakly at the guy.
“You should just follow what your friend recommends. Now, I had to dirty my and kill three of you,” The guy said boldly and pointed a gun at Ryutaro’s forehead. He almost pulled the trigger.
“STOP!” Yuto quickly went in the warehouse and stopped in front of the guy who wore a mask. Ryosuke stopped beside Yuto. Mirai and Mayuko went to Yuri and Shintaro. They untied the rope and released Yuri and Shintaro. Mayuko put Shintaro on her lap as he still not awoke.
“So you guys came and watch he dying,” The guy pulled the trigger. However, Yuto had attacked the guy and the bullet had missed Ryutaro head. But it stroke through Ryutaro’s waist.
“Ryu!” Yuri rushed to Ryutaro.
“My mission had done,” The guy said and quickly ran away. Yuto wanted to chase him but Ryosuke patted his shoulder.
“His life is more important,” Ryosuke pointed his eyes at Ryutaro. Yuto nodded and called an ambulance.
“Ryu,” Yuri eyes had became teary but he tried to hold the tears from fell. He supported Ryutaro back with his let arm and raised it a bit.
“Chii,” Ryutaro said weakly and looked deeply at Yuri teary eyes.
“Give… my… heart… to… Shin,” Ryutaro said trembling. Yuri couldn’t hold it anymore. The tears flowed heavily non-stop.
“No, you’ll safe and the three of us will live happily pretending all this never happen,” Yuri said and tried to smile. Ryutaro smiled weakly and his hand that fully soaked with blood was trembling to Yuri face and wiped Yuri tears gently with his thumb. The red blood stained attached at Yuri cheek.
“Go…men, I…has… ruin… your… cute…face,” Ryutaro said with his quivering voice and kept smiling. Yuri shook his head, still in tears. Ryutaro forced to raise his body and put his lips right beside Yuri ear.
“I…love…you,” Ryutaro whispered smoothly before he closed his eyes. Yuri was surprised with the confession but then he realized Ryutaro didn’t move anymore.
“Ryu?” Yuri said, more to asking. There was no responded. Ryutaro head fell gently on Yuri’s arm. Yuri burst into tears and sank his face into Ryutaro chest.
