Concert and Resurrection Goth/Industrial
The Null/Device & Dark Clan concert (or is it the other way around?) earlier this week was... interesting. It was an absolutely fantastic show but there weren't a lot of people; I think it was venue and the fact that it was a Monday night. I would like to see them come back on a different day at a better venue.
In other news:
A little over a week ago, on June 26th 2010 at 2 a.m. Central Time, approximately 14 hours after the official 12th Anniversary of the show... Resurrection Goth/Industrial ended. Whether it was with a bang or a whimper remains to be seen and I'm not going to speculate. I had been hosting and producing for a bit over 8 years.
Yesterday, July 2nd, was the first Friday since late 2008 where I had nothing to do. I suppose I could have finally indulged in a Friday night beer or a shot of whiskey-something that I haven't been permitted in 2 years on account of the show-or even socialized somewhere with other human beings, but I have to leave for a wedding in 1 hour 40 minutes (from the time of this posting) so a hangover wouldn't be acceptable.
I suppose there's next week unless I have something planned that Saturday.
I miss doing the show, and I think I started missing doing the show about midway through my last set.
