Gold weapons and armor
Today I got my second Gold Plate. (I got my first somewhere before the 16th...)
I've finally managed to make the Golden Falchion, and still have a Plate left over for my other plans. Yesterday I randomly carved a Gold Ruby (and got my ass handed to me due to a series of bad split-second decisions, resulting in a single K.O. that cost me a not insignificant chunk of the reward.)
I could make the Golden Moon Tasset right now (thus the need for the second plate), but I'd like to try for another Gold Ruby so I'll be able to make the Corpse Blades (I'm presently 2 Thorns and 1 hypothetical Ruby short.)
Once I have this stuff, it's on to finding someone willing to help me kill a Black Diablos; I'm absolutely convinced I won't be able to do it on my own with my present arsenal. While I'm decent at fighting Rathalos and Rathian, I'm at a significant disadvantage when fighting the really large enemies; they like to step on me and such, and more often than not, the legs are the only thing I can reach.
Now I just have to make 3 pieces of Diablos U armor and then things will start getting interesting.
In other news I am running out of space in my item box. ...Again.
