- cats:
Cats are intelligent ridiculous small furry creatures without a lick of common sense who have almost all the wisdom of the world wrapped into a single, self-centered package that will start licking itself when embarrassed. I sometimes feel that cats are the only ones who really understand me, even when they don't. My friends often needle me, accusing me of treating them as deities rather than pets. I really just try to treat them as spoiled and in need of more spoiling. ^^; 'Cause they are. - cyborgs:
One of my things with metamorphosis and change (see below.) A spin-off of my fascination with robots when I was a child, cyborgs seemed to be that much cooler: you can't be turned into a robot (well, hypothetically you could but it would be even more complicated.) Stronger, faster, scarier and containing more functions than a high-tech swiss army knife... yet still has the potential to feel emotion (unless we're talking a reverse-engineered cyborg like an 800-series CSM-101 or something.)
The downside is rechargable batteries are irritating, an EMP can seriously mess you up, and your brain can be hacked. - dreams:
Dreams are this little things that happen between moments of wakefulness. I sometimes find myself falling into weird ones right off the bat when I'm really exhausted. The ones I remember best are the ones I get awakened in the middle of, but I swear they mean something. ...Even if they usually boil down to my deep deep disappointment in the Mortal Kombat franchise 10 years ago and the Terminator franchise from 2003 onward. Twisted visions of Alien also fit in here somewhere and other strange, seemingly meaningful images from my subconscious and other places. - flames:
They're pretty. They're orange or blue or perhaps green if you add the right chemicals. They're bright, and very very hot. - metamorphosis:
Okay: in short, change.
Change into something else, preferably taller, faster, more powerful, albeit perhaps freaky-looking or even frightning. The change could be fast or could take months. Perhaps it hurts, perhaps it doesn't. There may be intermediate stages involved. I don't know, I'm just weird. *turns into an 8-foot hideous cat-monster and curls up in a corner with a teddy-spider* - repose:
Ah yes, napping. I like naps. Nice long ones. Just... curled up in a blanket or a lap somewhere... mmmmm... okay, next entry. - sleeping:
Deja vu: the sense that you are doing something you have done before. Sleeping is something that happens between brief periods of wakefulness (assuming I'm not napping.) Despite illusions to the contrary, I am actually quite fond of it and seek it whenever possible, unless there is a computer nearby. Bliss would be curling up on a lap right now and napping while warm and content. - spiders:
*holds up teddy-spider*
I really don't know when I first became interested in spiders. Might have had something to do with a mesh hammock I had when I was a kid. But they eat bugs and hang upside-down and I think they're kinda neat. - terminator:
Remember that deep deep disappointment? This is it. My love, my life, my obsession since about mid-1991. My dreams (see above) are often filled with visions of what T3 might have been, could have been, along with alternate scenarios for T2. - writhing:

Um, er, I'm cute, love me. Yeah.
