Um... ow.
Today (about 12-13 hours ago) I used a standard, non-electric razor on my face for the first time. This would have been all well and good had I used the electric razor at any point during the previous week before realizing that it was not in the same room with me.
Turns out using a standard razor on an thick unkempt beard of over a 3/8 in (about 1 cm) in length is not as effective as I had hoped. I won't get into the bloody details but let's just say I'm not as clean-shaven as I would have liked, and am... um... well, it's messy.
But I did it. First time shaving with nice big shiny blades instead of little freaky rotating ones; fourth or fifth razorburn incident and by far the most... noticable.
Now you may all mock me.
