Drama llama @ the bowling alley!
Omg, I haaaaaaaate drunk stupid people.
Me, Mike, and my buddy Ron went bowling like we do every Tuesday night. This black guy and his girlfriend get situated on the lane to our right. Dude probably had like, 7 shots of alcohol within the span of less than 40 minutes while his girlfriend only had half her drink. He's being all cocky and half the time he bowls, he walks into our lane. Then he decides to use my ball (which I own, not the alley's ball) without asking. So I walk up to him and say, "Hey, that was my ball." His response was "Don't worry, I got it back before the next cycle."
"But you didn't ask to use it."
Apparently this made him angry. Cuz, you know, you shouldn't have to ask someone to use their ball *sarcasm*. He said it's a public bowling alley, so I thought that maybe he thought it was a ball that belonged to the alley and told him that I paid for my ball myself. Ron & Mike tell him as well, and this gets him even madder. Mike tries to help but instead guy just confronts him and asks if he wants to take it outside while grabbing Mike's shirt, to which I make my way to the front desk and report that there's a guy trying to beat up my boyfriend. I come back with the security guy, he takes dude to the side and I can hear him talking all loud saying the same shit to him as he was saying to us. Meanwhile his girlfriend is apologizing, and we're like "it's okay" since it's not her fault; poor thing was rather embarassed. Guy comes back, keeps muttering stuff, grabs his things and leaves. He didn't even wait for his girlfriend, who still had to change her shoes.
So long story short, the whole thing could've been avoided had he just asked to use my ball. And the group using the two lanes to our right were awesome and had stood ready if drunk idiot decided to try and fight Mike. They also asked Mike if he was okay and stuff after the confrontation, so yay awesome people!
