Time away
Ok this has been a while. I went on a 5 week holiday... to a country that banned Facebook. Yes I know, deluded masochism? Yeah definitely. It's good to be home now. Not much to report, I'm financially devastated by this trip. But I am materially greater than I was before. Material goods etc.
It was a good trip, my time in in the PRC and HK was detrimental to my financial wellbeing :) but damn it's good. Peking duck is fantabulous. Travelled around the north provinces, visited a few cities I'd never been to before. Semi-climbed some mountains and 'trekked' through some national reserves. Released live fish into the Yalu River and eyewitnessed some illegal trafficking of people and goods. It's all in the name of adventure and fun. It was a good run. There might be a few decisions which I could've made or not made but then again it's all in the past now.
I have several thousand extra, new reasons to go back to work. I'm sure my credit card appreciates my appreciation of it.
