Overly warm day... it's Thursday already?

I kept thinking it was still Wednesday L

It’s casual dress if you wear a red top… the sad thing is I don’t actually have any red tops any more - so I thought I’d blend in with a red jumper. But wore business wear just in case I get busted :p not that that’s going to happen. There’s quite a few ppl who mis-interpreted the internal comm. Email saying “casual dress if you wear a red top”. MUWHAHAHAH ppl only see what they want to I guess. I'm warm because I wore my Zara knitted wrap to work... and it's SUNNY!!! It's warm and not rainy today. The wrap is very warm.

Oh and I came to an astounding theory as to why I don't like pointy shoes - see Wizard of Oz. Only bad witches wear pointy shoes, good ones will always wear rounded mary jane like shoes. So I choose to be good.. I do, I do, I DO! why doesn't anyone believe me. PLUS, pointy shoes makes you feet look BIG, no ppl don't be in denial it does NOT make your feet look slimmer, it does not emphasize your height, legs or any other anatomy other than hinting that you might have deformed toes.

Another shoe comment: I think my black docs boots are bigger than my reds (bought in Melbourne) should never return to a store without first pair bought and then just say something like "I want [this] size" without trying the shoes. I think. This is the first time I'm wearing the blacks, so maybe it's because my feet are smaller in the morning (sales lady said so). ;p

Dream: weird stuff, I think I was in Canada. :( why? hmm snow? why? I don't even like the cold that much. I guess I do like the crunch of snow. Hmm, there were other disturbing things... like trapped in a cabin... but there were chestnuts so it was fine.

My coffee is cold. I know I choose to make it cold but still, cold coffee just doesn't feel as good and soul warming some mornings when the sun is shining and the world looks like it's going to have a great time.

My retail therapy involved Borders yesterday (obviously), and bought The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss, I've not yet started reading - no I lie, I read the first page. I need a longer 1 sitting for this book it's over 700 pgs in the paperback form. Reviews are here... and extensive. Oh and he's made it to Wiki. Great coverage for a 1st book. The narrative within a narrative style is a hard one to utilise, it'll be interesting to see if the book works well with this.

On a shallow note, Pulp cover was of Johnny Depp, so I picked up... and read some. It only held 2 pictures + 2 more repeats of same 1st picture. But the writing is quite ok. More of a review than an interview... hints at the fact the interview didn't happen? didn't last long? I want to watch Dead Man.

Another movie I want to watch is Iron Man.
