Day XVII - An Art Piece *Warning Graphic Imagery*
I've recently found Van Arno. Well in particular I'm in love with three of his paintings, which go together. And its no surprise as to why these paintings caught my eye.

I would love, love love love, to have prints of these paintings framed, and hanging up in my place. I love the female form, and have what some may consider unhealthy obsession werewolves. I saw these and I was in love from the get go. He had an exhibition last year actually called A Change of Skin featuring women as creatures of myth, changing their forms into something other than human. They're all pretty damn interesting but, of course, the werewolf one is my favorite. I know, I'm so damn predictable!
If you asked me who my all time favorite illustrator/artist was, Ben Templesmith would be that guy. He was the artist for 30 Days of Night, Wormwood, Fell, and one that I'm especially excited to read, Welcome to Hoxford.
I'm a huge fan of "sloppy art". I love it when you can see the painterly style in an illustration and have come to not really like the sleek clean lines that you see in some modern day illustration. Give me paint splatters. Give me inky lines. Give me organized chaos.
