(no subject)
So, today.
Well, I was up bright and early after the fiasco that happened with rufus last night. I took her out for a walk before I went to bed, and cleared a spot for her to go to the bathroom in the snow. She didn't have to go (or at least she ran back to the door wagging her tail) and so I let her in. I went into the bathroom to brush my teeth and all that and when I came back out into the bedroom, Rufus was on the bed looking at me. Then I noticed she had peed all over the bed. So I ran over, ripped the sheets off and threw them into the wash, and quickly scrubbed the comforter. I cleaned off the bed, checked the room to make sure no cats where in it, grabbed my clothes for the morning, and went and slept downstairs.
I woke up and went back upstairs to go take my shower, and I found that Frankie somehow managed to be locked in the room, and then had also, peed all over the bed. Luckily the bed was bare and all that was on it was the plastic cover protecting the mattress. So I cleaned it all of, and jumped in the shower.
The rest of the morning went smoothly. The drive was nice and easy, and getting there was a piece of cake.
To spare the rest of the time, I'll just say that the Turner Buildings, or compound, which is more appropriate, are really really nice. The people are a lot of fun (at least the ones I met), and they're all pretty young. the animation building is awesome and filled with posters, cardboard cut outs and toys.
My interview went great, and Blaine told me that he wants to bring me on as freelance!
That more than I even expected. I know that turner hires pretty much only from their freelance pool, unless someones reputation precedes them, so I'm ecstatic.
They just acquired a new network (NBA) and so Blaine says the work should be picking up, so there will be a need for freelance soon.
I was introduced to a lot of the people that work there, all of whom really seem to love their jobs, so I'm excited over the fact that I may be able to be a part of it.
The drive home was like I was on a cloud. the fact that they liked me and my work made me feel really good.
Only thing is they didn't ask me to take the animation test. Not sure if that has to do with them being busy, or if they just don't need me to take it, or what. It does have me a little concerned though.
Oh well. Gonna watch me some STar Ocean EX and get to bed!
