All for the Game
Hmm, I don't know if anyone has stumbled across the All for the Game series (Nora Sakavic) yet? Think I posted about this a while ago - I found it oh... gods, a year or two ago, when it was like the second ebook, then it took a while for the third book, and guess she released them in paperbacks (which reminds me, need to order them). I love the series, it's a sports based series but it's not too sports based, it's not too explicit but yes, there's a male/male relationship there, it takes a while to develop but it's there, I guess this is technically a 'teen book' but I never saw it as that (maybe because the characters are in college and nothing is too explicit). Lot of violence and hints of past sexual abuse, fair warning.
But yeah, love the series, got into this when I couldn't into other series that were raved about. And so, yeah, I'm doing a fanfic for it. Go me. Yes, I will finish Shadows at some point (I think Mac will strangle me if I don't, and honestly, I feel immense guilt for the all the fans who have followed me up to this point, the English and the Russian and the Chinese readers). It's so close to the end. But if you want to try a new series, give All for the Game a try and look up 'nekoita' on AO3.
