wow more free stuff
Meh. Meh I say. K (great colleague) is out w/ health issues, so I'm doing the work of two people right now. Gonna be at least two weeks until she's back, so... bah. Main thing is that she gets well, but just wish I worked in one of those fields were I got paid overtime. That was one of the very few perks of being a contractor - used to get overtime then (but no benefits and crappy pay, so....).
Anyway, finally got some fic posted, was nice to write something and get it finished. Been meaning to post for a while, and have some stuff to clear out. Here are the goodies:
Kindle HD 8" w/ wifi and 3G capabilities (and case). It works pretty good now, saw some traveling (but not much), no obvious damage.
Ugg Josie boots, size eight, the dark brown version (chesnut?):

I've worn these... a couple of times. Slight darkening around the heels (they're lighter in color than the boots), but other than that, they're in really good shape. I just... I love my Ugg boots (I tend to like their heels and fashion boots more than their 'normal' boots, but even those are comfy), but something about these never clicked with me. Maybe because I wasn't sure about the size and got them in 8's, and everything else I own of theirs is at least half a size down. Anyway, they're good quality boots, they have the fleece in the soles, and would like to see them go to a good home before taking them to a consignment shop.
Also have these Chinese Laundry ebonie heels:

Should be 7 or 7.5 (think 7). Very cute, nice heels, but just a wee too high for me. Have to stop at 5" I think. I wore them... once?

Also size 7 (or should be). Just a bit too clunky for me.
Since I know people hit this journal at different times, I'll say... post something you think I'll like (a pic, a link to something cute/fun, be it an article, a video, a fic, just as long as it's virus free) based on what I like (fandom, cats, wine, etc). What amuses me wins. That should make it a bit more fair than first come, first gets. I'll hide comments for now.
Is anyone watching Orphan Black? OMFG, the second season is off to an even better start than the first. WHY AREN'T YOU WATCHING IT???
