So I've been on a total movie marathon lately. Mostly because I don't have cable anymore, but I've been downloading and watching movies. Mostly horror movies, because I love horror and I have the obsession with the bad.
I need to think of other movies to watch. But I've been playing the shit out of stuff right now. I keep bouncing between several

P3P *A* How you make me want a PSP oh-so bad ~ hahaha
Moving, and having to find cheap places is a populated area, is always super stressful @_@ That was the part I hated absolute WORST about school down in Baltimore. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you that everything works out okay. ♥ One of my schools only starts on September 10th-ish, but the other starts August 23rd. WHY SUCH A GAP, COLLEGES? The hard, more important one is the early one too. Boo hiss.
HNNNNNGGGGHHHHH All of this happy Scott Pilgrim love is almost too much for me. For years I'd gush about it and no one would have a clue what I was talking about (because I was always that loser girl who liked weird independent comics) and now everyone I know is gushing about it! *_* ♥ ♥ ♥
Bryan (along with Jen Wang, Vera Brosgol and Clio Chiang) were always my super-mega inspirations throughout high school and early college. I started collecting Scott Pilgrim my sophomore year of college, I believe when the second book was out? because I loved O'Malley's style in Lost At Sea. This all must be like a dream come true for him. I can't imagine even having my comic picked up and published by someone, let alone turned into a (GREAT) movie.
ANNNDD AHHHH KIMPINE KIMPINE 8> She's been the love of my life for YEARS. People can like Ramona and Natalie all they want, but Kim has always been and will always be my absolute favorite. Something about her deadpan humor and sarcastic attitude just made me fall in love. Plus, as I'm sure you've caught on my now, I'm a complete sucker for freckles XD I also own 4+ track jackets, so I used to be dorky enough to have "Kim Pine" days in college where I'd draw a few freckles on (not to the Heather degree, though hahaha) and would go out to inner harbor with my roomies and we'd all know inside I was Kim Pinein' it up >X3 Actually, when I dyed my hair red-orangish this most recent time I'm sure you can guess now who I had in mind X3 ♥
Oh! And for what it's worth, the movie was honest to god incredible. Everyone looked SO MUCH like their comic counterpart (the only major change I took note of was making Envy/Natalie blonde in the movie; in the comic she always had some shade of red or magenta hair, but that's such a minor, minor thing) the attitudes and jokes were kept in tact, and best of all they really didn't change anything. They basically trimmed a few aspects down due to time (which is beyond understandable) but the core idea was all there.
I shed a little tear of ultimate O'Malley fangirl happiness when the film ended. Michael even loved it and I've never been able to get him to read the comics despite years of my prodding (to his credit, he's not much of a reader though haha). Especially towards the beginning things were really kept 100% the same, it was only towards the end where they had to do things like cut out the Twins speaking parts (they cracked me up, although Lucas was always my ~personal~ fav) and slightly alter Scott using his one-up token and how the battle with Gideon/Ramona went. I really don't say it often, I'm just caught up gushing now in your journal because you posted delicious Kim Pine I'm sorry haha, but as a huge HUGE O'Malley fan I can't speak enough positive words about this adaptation. They truly did an incredible job. :>

GET A PSP LYSE.
Yeah, I mean I got time to figure it out, it's just a pain in the ass to do. And the school does have listings for apartments and what not, its just sucky because its around a time where most people are looking.
lololol yeah my one coworker had been trying to get me to read them for a while now. But I was just herd a derp lazy. But by the time I really showed an interest, the movie was coming out so I just waited. I SEE YOU WEARING A TRACK JACKET THERE.
I didn't care for how they did Michael Ceras hair. It didn't look a THING like Scotts. It looks like an odd mushroom on top of his head. Honestly, his hair normally was more like Scotts then how they did it in the movie. But other then that I really enjoyed the movie. :>
PFFT. Michael read? Pffft. Doesn't surprise me there. ;D

I KNOW AHHHH. And then I tell coworkers about my plan and they call me stupid and/or crazy. ;_; I didn't want one for a while, mostly because of the price combined with a lack of games that interested me, but now with P3P, Peacewalker, Origins AND Shattered Memories (SINCE WHEN WAS SHATTERED MEMZ ON THE PSP AHHHH) I feel I almost have to. It'd also be fun to have a chance to play the original Persona again in its re-released glory, especially if they fixed up all of the issues they made when they first brought it over. A-and wouldn't it be amazing if they brought Project Diva over sometime too? *m*
It is. I absolutely hated finding somewhere new to live every year. I'm a worrywart but it was always so incredibly stressful.
Whooo!! Good coworker, good coworker XD NO I'M TOTALLY NOT I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT I keep one hooked on my drawers at all time because it's usually cold in our house from Mom keeping the air conditioning chilly. XD;;
Hmmm I personally didn't mind too much. In the books it's described as kind of messy awkward everywhere and it looked pretty messy awkward everywhere in the movie hahaha Bryan's style isn't exceptionally realistic or descriptive, so in a way it's difficult to tell what's specifically going on with everyones appearance. I can totally see where you're coming from with the mushroom thing though XD ♥
Hahahaha unless they're his STAR WARZ books it takes a lot to convince him to read something >XD I was still happy though, we geeked out about how ~*FABULOUS*~ Wallace was after seeing Scott Pilgrim.

HAHA you didn't know Shattered Memories was on the PSP? I was thinking of picking that up too. Yeah, I have someone that I can borrow Persona from because I want to check that out. AND HNNNNG THAT ROCK. But you can play the Japanese version on a regular PSP, it's not region locked. So you can get it and play it, since its just a rhythm game I don't think it be too hard.
I think it was the shape. Because at least with everyone else they got at least the right shape or translated the style pretty closely. But with Michael Cera in the move the whole general shape seemed wrong and really odd looking on him.
lololololol he reads Star Wars. Tell him I think he's a nerd.
