Ron Paul is a racist and a homophobe, and if he's not either of those things he's definitely a dumbass for letting a newsletter that espouses both of those views run under his name for 30 years.

I've heard good things about City of Lost Children, though!

Those particular remarks were published without his knowledge and did not reflect any of his views. He didn't even know who wrote those comments, but accepted moral responsibility for not reading over them before they were published.

The fact remains that said newsletter was published for decades. Even if he accepts the responsibility I'm pretty sure it torpedoes his chances for president.

The blimp was a pretty tight idea though

Politicians have things published in their names that they don't read all the time. As far as I can tell his only mistake was trusting people under him to speak in his interest. Lesson learned: read everything that goes out with your name on it.

And anyway, the president of the NAACP defended Ron, having known him for 20 years. If the president of the NAACP doesn't think it's fair to criticize Ron for it then why should we?

He's still the only politician who doesn't change his mind constantly and says what he really means. He's also the only one who actually follows the Constitution and actually understands the role of the President. He's infinitely better than any of the other candidates, regardless of people have said in his name.

I watched Waking Life almost everyday in my 10th grade Multimedia class, it's amazing.

Also, I love City of Lost Children. This is a super list.
