I partially knew they were going to fuck things up by first getting Topher Grace (however his name is spelled) to play Eddie Brock. The actor is 1) way too scrawny, 2) a whiny annoying person, 3) a low rate actor. Eddie was a big fucking guy who was an asshole and had some serious issues and anger management. Plus also, I knew things were going to be bad by having so many villains and plot lines all in one movie. Having Peter wanting to marry MJ, Harry becoming Green Goblin II (or I think they call him "New Goblin" in the movie), introduction of Sandman and the revelation that he helped kill Uncle Ben (slaps forehead), introduction of Gwen Stacey and the romantic triangle that forms between MJ, Peter, and her, introduction of the black symbiot costume and the inner struggles that Peter starts to go through, and finally the introduction of Eddie of Brock that becomes Venom. WAY TOO MUCH TO CRAM INTO ONE MOVIE!!!!!
Yeah, at first I was wanting to see this movie really badly when I saw the previews for it last summer. But now, I think I can wait to go see it which will be a first with the Spider-man movies since I've seen the previous two on premiere night.
