a declaration
not inspired by anything but my own ruminations:
i am not a fixer-upper. i'm a person made from scratch. i have no make or model number and my parts are anything but interchangeable. i am my own maker, and it is my place to know where everything goes. i am not a mess, i am a thorough if not efficient use of working space, and if god didn't want clutter, he wouldn't have invented me.

in other news, shay got fixed today, and is not enjoying the cone around his head AT ALL. which should be expected, given his energy level. i should find out how long he's supposed to wear that...
