I went to Blockbuster today since they're officially closing down and picked up a few things. I'm really sad it's closing down because I went there a lot to rent movies that I originally didn't see in theatres. Basically now since Jumbo Video closed down awhile ago too, I have no other place to rent movies anymore. Call me old fashion, but I kind of preferred it to things like Netflix. I liked going out and seeing familiar faces and browsing around to see what new movies were out. That and all through my childhood I'd go in with my dad to either Jumbo Video or Blockbuster, grab some free popcorn and pick something up. It was really nice and I got to hang out with my dad and make fun of the lame b-movies we came across. I'm going to miss it. ):

I bought a few videos games and a movie while I was there and found some things that I potentially might go back for. Today I picked up Nier, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, the Star Wars edition of Robot Chicken, and some cool retro 3-D glasses they had. I also happened to find the whole box set of Wolf's Rain and Left 4 Dead, but the Wolf's Rain box set was expeeensive even with the 25% off and I figured that I'd just pick up Left 4 Dead the next time I was in. (even if it's not there I can probably get it cheap at Walmart or EB Games)

I also beat Portal awhile ago (after playing non-stop, lol) and bought Portal 2 shortly after. Can I just say that Portal 2 has TAKEN OVER MY LIFE?! Almost every spare moment I have I'm playing it. Basically between work and some computer time it's all I've been doing. D: It's just. so. freaking. addictive. I went over to a friend's house today and we played co-op for a few hours and ADAGFHHGFJK IT'S SO FUN. I'm sure everyone else has said this, but I love Wheatley. He's so hilarious. Whoever wrote the script for this game deserves all the awards, ALL OF THEM. It's just so brilliant and even my friend, who doesn't really like 1st person games was right there laughing with me and having fun.

Oh yes, and I beat 999 a little while ago too! I saved the true ending for last and MAN, was I not disappointed! That ending just scattered my emotions EVERYWHERE and I found myself laughing and crying and just aaaaaahhhhh IT WAS TOO GOOD. I loved it and it also brought up some player speculation as well, which I like to try and sort out and create head canons for. Just WOW, that's really all I can say about it all. Everything came together so perfectly. I will be eagerly awaiting Extreme Escape Adventure: Good People Die. (because I guess it's the sequel to 999? IDK :/a)
