So I'm currently having an ongoing battle with a spider in my room. The first time I saw it it was pretty much coming at me at a DEAD RUN. So I freaked out and tried to kill it, but it dropped somewhere and I couldn't find it. After that I quite literally stayed up all night to try and seek and destroy this stupid thing, but it had disappeared, so I finally went to bed. I didn't see it today either until I went on the computer AND IT ZOOMED OUT FROM UNDER IT. I flipped out and tried to smack it but it disappeared AGAIN. I swear to God the next time I see it it's dead. SOON SPIDER, SOON. D:<
I'm also currently taking driving prep to get my G2, so I have to do an online workbook thing to finish the course. One of the questions said: "What's the most important reason for wearing a seatbelt" and when I looked over the answers I found this line: "To make it easier for the rescuers to locate your body." Um...Okay. So I guess that's what a seatbelt is really needed for. Man, what would I do without this helpful online quiz? I feel more educated already.
But seriously, is it bad that I laughed really hard at that? My sense of humour is a bit odd at the best of times. Especially since I thought it would be really funny to get drunk while taking my online driving test. I didn't do it, but I still found the thought hilarious....I'll just hide forever now...
So has anyone else seen the new Adventure Time with Fionna and Cake? I know it's not supposed to come out until sometime in September, but I found the full episode and couldn't stop myself. That and I probably wouldn't be able to watch it on t.v either because I'm not even sure if Adventure Time is on any Canadian channels. But yes, NEIL PATRICK HARRIS ASADSFHGHSDSFHG. I was way too excited by the fact that he was voicing Prince Gumball, haha. Marshal Lee didn't have any lines, which made me sad, but I still liked the cameo and the interaction between Fionna and him. AND DAT ENDING OMG. Probably the best ending for anything I've seen ever. XD
I also downloaded a bunch of fanmade visual novels that I found a link for in deviantart. I've only played through one so far and I really liked it! It's called Painted Walls and it's about a mentally disturbed girl who loves the colour red and hears voices from the walls and her house. It had a really great, surreal type of art and the story from her perspective was amazing. It was pretty short and I've gotten two out of the three endings, but it really hit the mark and left me feeling quite disturbed by the end of it. The bonus material didn't help in that area either, haha. Here's a link to anyone interested in playing it:
HERE. It's free and really well done.
There was also apparently a visual novel contest/festival going on that had a bunch of original visual novels avaliable for free download. They're all
HERE. I'm probably going to be playing through either Reverie or That Cheap and Sacred Thing next. They both look quite good! I'm such a visual novel nerd, IGNORE ME XD
Also welcome to
