Chemo
Well I went and did it. I called the folks in Tyler and told them to take me out of the trial there. One of the drugs in the cocktail they have been using is 5Fu. (it's actual name is two miles long so...) My body has become sensitized to it and I have tiny blood specks under all my nails. They haven't started peeling again but I think that is because I only had one treatment this time before calling a halt. That one treatment did not make me violently ill this time, but it did put me in bed with no appetite for nearly 4 days. Considering how much weight I have lost recently this is Not a good thing. Hence the decision to stop that treatment. I've got a call in to the Baylor branch in Dallas to see what they have in the trials, I Really don't want to go all the way to San Antonio. We will have to see what comes up.
