So last week I caught myself up on Shinkenger and Kamen Rider Decade, the first because I actually wanted to know what the series was doing (and I hadn't downloaded the episodes since April) and the latter because it had the tenacity to crossover with Shinkenger.
That was probably the most EPIC episode in toku history. If you haven't seen Decade do so. It's only 31 episodes.
Also, I am considering the Christmas present from my dad to be the fact that he FINALLY FIXED MY CAR. Most people should have known that my car had this habit of not starting after I turned it off unless I switched out the start plugs. Dad fixed this so now it will start every time. I AM VERY HAPPY.
Which leads to my mixed feelings over the presents I know I am getting. I asked for a used DS Lite, partly because I want one, and partly because I few games I actually want to play are on that system. Please note that I tried to stress USED in my xmas list to my mother (because she needs everything written down or she forgets it). I had a couple of other things on that list including the new Rekka no Ryo figure, some Den-o Imajin capsule toys, a mamegoma seal plush (or something), and food gift cards. If everything added up correctly, theoretically it should have been slightly over $200.
As of right now, I have confirmed that half of my list is not happening (I only had 10 things, which I do on purpose). A couple of things were out of stock (which I get), but the two things I really wanted on that list were Ryo and the Imajin, and I was actually told by mom that the Imajin didn't happen, and I'm worried about Ryo because I was given a blank stare when that was brought up. If that's because she's trying to surprise me, okay. But seriously, the only reason I put the DS on my list was because she kept asking me for things I wanted. If I could get an itinerary of where we're shopping the day after xmas, I probably would have put down to buy me my stuff at Bookoff or Kinokuniya down in Costa Mesa.
This isn't to say that I won't enjoy my DS. It's just that my Xmas list actually does go in the order of importance. The DS was last because I can live without it. The Imajin were in the top five because they're hard to find, and Ryo was in the second half because he was expensive. Is it too much to ask my mom to go by priority?
The only good thing here is that my birthday is at the end on January, so anything I don't get for xmas automatically gets put on my b-day list.
real life,
