Seriously though, I am rather bad. I'm already skipping classes. Ok, a class. But I think it's a worthy reason. Tomorrow evening, instead of attending my Molecular Bio. class, which I'm sure you'll all agree is fascinating in its own right, I shall be on a train bound for Philadelphia. And why would I be doing such a scandalous thing you ask? Bien, je vous dirai. (Oh dear, there I go again...)
It just so happens that I will be spending the night at a talk/signing given by none other than Terry Pratchett! Eeek! Or should I say, Oook! How cool is that?! Pretty damn cool I think. And worth missing Molecular Bio, although I won't put the question to my professor, because obviously it's a given. ;)
Not only that, but I get to spend the evening with my good friend brids_owlwoman, who I never get to see often enough, and she will be bringing doublebassplaya, and the very cool skyethebard, who's also bringing along someone I've never met, so a bonus for me :) Yay for meeting new people!
And hopefully my friend safiiru will also be able to make an appearance at some point and grace Terry Pratchett with his presence, if he can tear himself away from his important grad work long enough. ;)
